Burberry sent a whimsical collection of its trademark trench coats down the runway at London Fashion Week, embellished with heart motifs, animal prints and metallic detailing for autumn/winter 2013.
The collection, entitled Trench Kisses, added a sense of playfulness to the brand’s historical heritage, with translucent rubber panels, metal eyelets and laminated leather adding contrasting textures.
Held in London’s famous Hyde Park, models strode down the catwalk with fitted dresses, chic pencil skirts, knitted jumpers and shiny golden belts. Scottish designer Christopher Kane has put on a bumper display, putting five collections before the eyes of the fashion world.

The event was held in on an expansive empty floor of a modern office space in the City of London.
The collection featured oversized silhouettes, dropped waists and elegant fitted velvet dresses with sheer tulle bands, and camouflage pattern.
Alongside edgy, party dresses (organza flowers appliquéd onto matching skirts and tunic tops), luxurious coats and highly desirable shoes.

Designer Matthew Williamson presented his idea of a quintessentially British rose on the catwalk at the glamorous Royal Opera House. The colourful dresses were inspired by a trip to see the Northern Lights.
Models strode onto the catwalk in a kaleidoscope of different colours and patterns, of sulphur yellows, tangy oranges and bright fuchsias. Sequinned patterns of roses were sewn onto sweaters and skirts with pleated detailing, with embellished necklines inspired by native Nordic costumes.

Mid-length dresses layered over coloured turtle necks and tailored trousers, with thick coats resembled woven blankets, with knitted rabbit fur sweaters and glamorous evening gowns in rich jewel tones completing the collection.
The five-day London Fashion Week concluded on Tuesday (February 19).
The event is a destination for buyers from across the globe, and is estimated to generate sales of 100 million pounds.
