kadenaLuxuryTravel introduces Necker Island, Sir Richard’s Branson creation, Virgin Limited Edition. Now You have an extra reason to visit Necker Island at BVIs; the Necker Nymph, the first aero submarine.
You don’t happen to know Necker Island? let us give some lovely history. Its was back in the early 1980s, when a twenty-something Richard Branson wanted to impress a lovely lady called Joan. He heard a rumour that an island was for sale and that the Real Estate Company would offer hotel accommodation, flights and a helicopter for anyone showing an interest in looking to buy the island. So in his quest to impress Joan (who is now his wife of over 20 years!), he took her to see Necker, and they both fell in love with the island. But the asking price was far too high for Richard. However, some months later, the price had reduced and he was approached, so Richard became the proud owner of his own island and new home. …In the end he did get the girl and the island!
This property became part of the Virgin Limited Edition (we are going to present You all properties in the near future). Necker Island is one of the most stunning private paradises on earth. Surrounded by turquoise waters, coral reefs and fringed with beautiful white sandy beaches, Necker is the perfect place to escape the stresses and strains of city life. The island can be hired privately for 28 guests, or experienced ‘house-party’ style during specially selected Celebration Weeks. You have 60 staff at your beck and call and be staying in Balinese-inspired accommodation, including all Your meals and drinks and You’ll have endless beaches outside your door to laze the days away on…

The Necker Nymph can glide through the ocean doing full 360 degree turns while carrying its pilot and two visitors on a two-hour trip.
“Gliding on the water’s surface like an aeroplane on a runway, one of the three pilots will operate the joystick to smoothly dive down, and the thrilling experience begins,” the company says. “Uncover ancient shipwrecks, fly side-by-side with dolphins, or spyhop with whales; the options are endless.”
The Nymph is available to hire for $25,000 a week. The Necker Nymph is expected to be delivered on February 20th 2010.
